School Law Workshop
The Law Workshop for Nevada school administrators is designed to provide Nevada school leaders with increased knowledge and skills in dealing with the myriad of legal issues that affect them on a daily basis. Each attendee will receive electronic access to documents containing the new revisions to the Nevada Revised Statues and collective bargaining agreements. Attendees will receive 1/2 recertification credit

Sex Offender 101 -What Are Schools Required To Do, A Series of Hypothetical Situations

A variety of legal topics will be discussed by the program presenters including; Labor Law, FERPA, PTA Relations, Copyright Law, Special Education, Cyber Bullying, Student Discipline, Employee Discipline, Student Search, ADA Compliance, Field Trips and Ask the Lawyer. Attendees will be asked to actively participate by answering questions and giving opinions through an anonymous electronic voting system.
